i was getting up to 200 fps then somehow randomly. my computer can barely support having a plain on screen without it dropping to 20 fps im not really sure whats going on

go to task manager and check memory/cpu usage. Something is eating your performance!

And ignore the "system idle process". It just fills in the processing time left over.

figured it out. my computer had shut off due to our power cutting off and it effected my display settings which somehow severly effected my performance

edit:
I appologize for my spelling on this post i corrected. i had updated it from my phone lol
