Hey all,
I noticed a lack of modern day buildings for FPS creator and decided to make a pack which will be released later on , in the FPSC forums

-but since my upcoming pack for FPS Creator, is such an early state, that i can not show any "ingame" fps creator screenshorts of the contents the pack will have, I am making a thread here in the 3 dimensional chat board.

Heres what i've gotten done so far (keep in mind that its work in progress);
Heres a sort of slummy building

and a factory,

and a small apartmentbuilding

more pics will be posted as I get more work done on it...

Essal,

p.s sorry for the small screenshots

Nice models but even the worst of slums has a window even if it is covered by a bit of plastic sheet. To add some interest a washing line on the roof wouldnt go a miss, just an idea.

Again the same thing for the factory, even the worst of sweat shops will have a window or two, perhaps add a loading bay as well. To make it stand out maybe add some graffiti on the walls.

I give ip with thos baner fing as it never seems to work for me. I woll now stop wasting mu time.

Ok one nit-pick on the first one, that concrete texture is scaled up to high. Once you look at the wall itself and then look at the door, you should see what i mean.

UPDATE;
Got Building one's textures merged into one picture, added windows, and got it in FPSC. (texture is not as good as it was tho)

Heres how it looks (added some entities from Modelpack 36 to make give the screen some fill);

A New thread will be made in the FPSC models and Media board soon.

Did something happen to the UV coordinates during export? They're completely different from your render, look closely and you'll see how the texture doesn't match up in both pics.

@Josh

Yeah, I see that too.

It looks stretched horizontally... Not tiled like in the original pic..

Well Yeah, since FPS creator doesn't support multitextures, i had to make the textures into one single texture file, -
furthermore, when i Tile the textures in the 3D software, it does not get tiled in FPSC (I am not sure if its because it is not supported, but i'm pretty sure im exporting everything correctly.)

But I'm working on improving the UV map manually so the texture gets tiled again.

EDIT;
I have gotten the texture more tiled now, ( still not as tiled as first pic, but still much better than before)

Heres the new pic, where you can see the difference between the old texture tiling, and the new
(Left is old, right is new improved)

and heres a picture of the more detailed door texture

I'm making my thread on the FPS creator forums now
