i do know that but how would i actually like have a video scene show people doing something? is there a way i can import the levels into 3ds max and do something in there?

Windows Movie Maker = simple movie making program.
Macromedia Flash Pro 8 = an all in one movie and game creator.
Fraps = a simple program that is recording whatever you do.
3D Sci-Fi Movie Maker = let you create a 3d sci-fi movie.
Blaze Media Pro = an audio and movie editor.
The Movies = a tycoon game that let you make your own 3D movie.

this is the only programs i know that let you create a movie.

you would have to import the seperate model files into 3dsmax so i suggest basing them in small rooms

non of these is free exept windows movie maker, but i guess thats not free either becouse you need to buy a computer to get it!
