Welcome to the forums man! There's lots to explore and learn around here - but first, it really truly helps to just get aquainted with FPSC. Open it up, and try and make a little game; see what can be done with the physics, the enemies, entities, lighting and level design.
Once you have an idea of what the program's all about, you might have an idea of what kind of game you'd like to create, and perhaps you have a few questions -
Lot's can be answered from the
Community Guide created by Nickydude.
Also, you'll definitely want to check out the Work in Progress board, and the Showcase board, and see what other's are doing with FPSC. A lot of inspiration can be gathered from that for sure.
Then, you'll certainly want to hop on over to Gunn3r's
blog thread where he's writing wonderful pieces on how to get the best out of FPSC, and the tips and tricks on developing a top-notch game
Well, hope you enjoy your stay here. There's lots to be learned, but never forget that your imagination is your ultimate tool around here as well.
Cheers
Life would be much easier if I had the source code.
