1ST off, please don't judge me because of my recent 3D thread, if you know what I mean.

2ND, I know how to model. I'm quite experienced

3rd, time for the question, sorry had to get things straight, just in case.

So I have a model I rigged (made by QUIK, retextured and added on to by me) of a Scifi Assault Rifle I'm planning to release for FPSC.

The animations are set, good, etc. (reload, idle, walk, putaway, etc.). Yet whenever I click 'Export', it works, yet when I view the X model, there is no animation whatsoever.

This is the animation tab that I see:

This is what first pops up when I export to X:

This is what pops up after I save the model:

The animation is exactly 150 frames, I know that EAI's G36c is 801, so that can't be the problem.

Help much appreciated, thank you

Oh, if that didn't make any sense, sorry, I'll re-explain if it didn't. I really need help on this because after I get this published, I can make the shotgun I was hoping for, already have it modeled. I just need to know for sure if I can use FragMotion

EDIT: No one got any help? Please don't tell me it's because of that MAX to 3DS stupid thread I made Help much appreciated...

I have had the SAME problem, its really irritating.
Is it rigged to EAIS hands? that sometimes seems to cause the problem for me.

Nope, and glad you came I wanted your help most.

It is rigged with all custom animations, yet I plan to rig it to EAI(or at least MP6)'s hands if I can figure this one out...

Plus, if I rig it to EAI's hands, I'd have to get permission...

But anyways, you got any help? I know you're very good with Fragmotion.

Cheers

I already read the thread. It said that as long I give credit to you, it's ok... That's what I was going to do.... Please don't say that you're not trusting me because of that one thread...

I'm sorry if I was supposed to inform you, I was planning to give you credit anyways... I can make my own models, I'm working on a shot gun, and a pistol. I just wanted to give a shot at rigging quickly...

Cheers

Oh alright, sorry Is it OK to 'ya if I put it like this...

Quote: "Credit goes to:
-Quik for being generous by providing the original Scifi Assault Rifle model and Concept Art.
-Me for adding on, retexturing, rigging, and editing.
-Everyone else who helped."

Sounds good?

Alright, cool.

No help, anyone? I think it may be because I'm using vertex animations instead of bone animations. Is that the problem?

Double post, sorry. I figured it out...

1) I was using vertex animations

2) You have to use Binary format for X files.

Cheers

I guess if anyone else needs help (I got FragMotion just last night - been usin' the trial for a long time), I've gotten good so ask here I guess
