I just clicked on it, well, I tried to press enter and pressed \| (preview hot key) , so FPSC is now crashing

Don't use FPSC anymore, but whenever I did use this it crashed, and since it was hotkeyed to the "Z" key, many unsaved sessions were lost when I missed the Shift key...

I never ever use the preview button, whenever I do my computer goes all funky and the program stops responding etc..

Remove it, I can't bear it. I never liked it anyway TBH lol xD. Never crashes with me though...

This was the first time it crashed to me too. But I don't still like it! I swear! I was making teh best game ever! It was better that any Half-Life, Halo or anything! It would have made Valve shamed of themselfs! But I forgot to save and it's gone becouse FPSC Crashed...

take it out.
If I want to preview my level, than I build it with the test game button and lower lightmap resolution.

The editor does not crash, but its not in use for me ^^

I would actually use it if it was a QUICK preview but it isnt, if i have a big level and click on quick preview it almost takes as long as the test level so i try to stay away from it and every now and then i click on ot because i have a small level and it crashes, all that work gone so i say get rid of it unless you can fix it. But i would like to know what it is competing against (the new tool that is soon to come).

Get one better at better electrical, well we just did, DARKANGEL

You can remove it so long as it says the FPS at the bottom of the screen.

I say remove it because its annoying that fpsc crashes when i press it. im curious at what this new feature you have said.

i never use it as it always breaks..... id like to see a button that made a preview level where you could move around freely (not just walking but fly etc) would be useful to get some nice images

I don't usually accidentally click on it while going for the Test Game button, yet I press the \ or | key (whichever you look at it as) right above the enter key in an attempt to bring an entity up on a table or something, and it starts the preview which leads to a crash. So, yes, like lots of people stated before, I'm positive we are in a 100% agreement, and that you should remove it. Thanks Lee!

I've done that more than once.. so I popedthat key out of the keyboard whil working on FPSc

and yes I used it more than once to veiw certan things that I couldn't see very well in the editors view.

I say keep it.

It crashed my version 1.16 of FPSC until I installed Fenix mod then it works great go figure LOL. Whatever you decide to do would be great Lee.

no seriously, remove it. the only time i've used it was the first time i used FPS Creator and I didn't know there was a test game button so I was like "Seriously? Is this it? I expected better graphics" lol

It only has like 1 use and that is to see what your game looks like when you will really play it I have used it 3 times to see what all the discussion is about I dont care if it is deleted or not. And it doesnt crash my computer. And lots of people are all mad be cause they aciddentaly clicked it if your dont want to click it then tell the tgc to move it to the oter side of the screen and then you dont have to get rid of it. But like I said I dont care if it gets deleted or not. You could just move it to teh other side of the screen so you dont "aciddentaly clicked it".

@Gamer_er, most of the time when I 'click' on it, I accidently hit the ( \ ) key - also seen as the ( | ) key. That goes into Preview. Usually when I press that key I'm going for the enter key to get an entity to get atop something else.
