Im going to try to model as many simple objects as i can in this thread.
(if it stays alive)
i am going to work on texturing next on this one.
(granted it doesnt have mouse/keyboard) but speakers yes
i decided im going to try and work on my texturing skills.
This is what this is mostly about. Wish me luck.

the chair doesn't quite work ergonomically, here is a design guide that shows the proportions of how it should look

I would put the tower on the floor next to the desk and move the speakers to either side of the screen.

That would give a more natural and usable workspace, and your feet won't be knocking the speakers around everytime you move

aye, I'd make the tower no more than 3/4 the height of the desk. just over 1/2 would likely be better.

Also the desk should be tall enough that the tops of the chair arm rests should be able to slide beneath the desk.

The desk legs could be must thinner structurally, though they could be thick due to style. If you keep them that thick though, mabye add some drawers.

lol i know proportions are off. That isn't exactly what im trying to improve.
im trying to improve texturing skills while still not using just boxes but not to complicated.

it was mainly just for the models.
i just built the scene for fun XD
but thank you all for the C&C.
Keep it comin.
im gonna work on some other models.

Not bad, but you have overlayed so much it makes the barrel look like concrete.

i think you should try adding that sort of pealing paint look that happens to metal when it sucomes to severe rust

mabye a bit too dirty now, it also seems very smooth and shiny in the renders. A rough normal map and drop the specularity will hold more to concrete.

i would be grateful ]
[edit]

im going to do an other scene. Wish me luck

Ahh yes, i forgot to upload my construction site models.
(The objects aren't scaled to what they are in pics, as i did that in the scene)
and i included the mtl files yet again as idk wth they are.
but textures and UV maps are included.
