I've read through all the forums in Dark GDK about image transparency, but nothing works for me. I do the setimagecolorkey(255,0,255) for images that I'm using on XNA with the hot pink background, but the background still shows up on Dark GDK. Any idea? Anybody have a mini sample program that shows how they did it? It is a really frustrating point to get past.

It will one day be finished!

Could you show us one of the images your using?

You know, you can also use .png images w/ transparency and not have to worry about the color key.

http://www.darkgdk.us/ <- You can now submit pages, upload images, yet were lacking content. We need your help!

Maybe dbSetObjectTransparency to 1 does the job...

Now the plot thickens, the fps decreases, and the awesomeness goes through the roof.

CuddleBunniez,

What software would you suggest for creating png's with transparency?

dbSetImageColorkey should work... Post a simple code and an image, maybe we can find where the problem is.
