With very few exceptions, any links to downloads of my media found outside these forums are likely just pirated packs and should not be downloaded.

This forum needs a facepalm smiley.

Don't worry EAI, if i find an pirate site with anything that has to do with FPS, i squeel about it to TGC! and i would not download any pirated packs becouse i already bought all of them!

Yes it seems he wants to receive EAI media... For free. You'd better watch him; hopefully he won't get the idea of pirating model packs... Also his username clearly states that he desperately wants free stuff, so why doesn't he just go to the models & media section and nab stuff from there?

forumfree, welcome to the forum. You can find EAI's work in the TGC store. There should be a link to the store on the bottom of your FPS Creator editor, under the library.

Is there a browser link straight to the store?

Here is a free pack of melee weapons I made a few months ago, and gave away to the community. They're obviously not EAI weapons, but they are rigged to MP10 hands and EAI's animations. You did say you wanted a free link, right?

Creating weapons is very hard. Model the weapon, then use a tool to animate it... It's complicated...

I would recommend 3DS MAX 2009/2010 when creating stuff for FPSC. or MilkShape, thats good to. But blender isn't so very good at creating FPSC objects. it's a good program tho.

I don't know, I thought I was getting pretty good at it ::modest smily::

I wouldn't recommend recommending he go out and drop $3,000 on a license for 3D Studio Max just to create models for a $50 engine. If you already own a copy, then great, but Milkshape and Blender work wonders for FPS Creator.

thats why you use a good couple of extra layers and some paint to help
(a source mod)

I think EAI should make a small free weapons pack tho.

Just an FYI to everyone here, It is the holidays.

In the upcoming weeks, this forum, especially the FPSC board, is likely to encounter many more new and inexperienced users asking questions like this.

Lets try to be helpful if we can, and kindly point them in the right direction.

You have to remember...there is a first time for everything, including posting on a forum. Some users just don't understand how it works yet. Thats what were here for

How come no one ever mentions AC3D? I've gotten most of my success from it, so... y'know... Plus, it's very powerful and easy to use. Oh, well.

2nd, I am working on a weapons tutorial for blender and it will include... FREE HANDS for you blender users out there to use if you want.

probably the same reason why Blender is usually got the "too hard to use" sign. not saying it is hard to use (I can use any modeling program as long as I got access to vertices, edges, and faces).

Which is why I asked for clarification. We have had people come on here before asking for links to illegal content...remember?

i didn't realize he lived off of it. I wish I could do something that good. his weapons are worth it tho. I bought 20 bucks worth of store weapons because they where perfectly tweaked with airmod and everything. i do not regret it at all.
