Makes perfect sense to me. People here are too used to artists and programmers giving their work (ie., time and experience) away for free.

That's a good suggestion; I'm sure he could make up a special commercial license for those textures.

Nevermore.

Maybe some people should just say "thank you", and leave the other comments off the thread?

And Maybe, just maybe, u should appreciate someone his hard work. He gave them away, didnt he? I mean, the most of this people around the forum, are doing this for a passion for later making games at a the real industry, u are allowed to use the provided textures for free, in free games, so u can release the game as long if it is free... Just not comercially (money).

Damn some people are really... Well. Lets get back to work...

I appreciate everyones hard work here (CP is my hero!) and Im sorry if my post offended you all. It was just meant to be a light-hearted comment to compromise the previous threads.

I wont post anymore as I dont wish to cause offense.

Have a great holiday everyone

Nevermore.

I wouldn't go that far. Just realize that there are a number of artists (and scripters/programmers) that contribute a great deal here; whether it's for free...or for pay. Even the pay items are almost free, for what you get. Most of the media sold here could easily be sold elsewhere for 4 to 5 times the amount given here.

Some comments can be taken out of context; what may seem funny to you, may seem offensive to others...as we've seen here.

Some artists don't contribute anymore (here), because they became fed up with the lack of gratitude...compared to the numbers of downloads they were receiving. For some people, a simple thanks is a welcome subsitute for pay. Of course, this is a generalization; but you get my meaning.

I've even seen posts where people were basically demanding that artists give away their work...simply because others had done so. What a slap in the face that is/was!

At any rate; I don't believe anyone in particular is "angry" with you, just be aware of some of the "sensitivities" (can't think of a better word) of some contributors here. This in no way reflects the thoughts of the thread starter here; it is merely my assertations.

-Keith
