Hi there, when i installed it, it worked, when i made something and click the run button to run it, it will just pop up saying DBProAssist.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
OK so i reinstalled it (manually because it would pop up with a message if i tryed to automatically do it)
And i still get the error, my computer is new and fast.
Also after the DBProAssist.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. i get another pop up saing "Failed to Validate compiler"

Ok so now what do i do.
Can anyone help me through this please

make sure you have the DB cd in the drive, it needs that to make sure you have a legal copy of the program, also you might like to let us know if you have installed the latest patches for the IDE and the compiler, and do you have current drivers for your video card and the latest DirectX?, try all those and see what happens, cheers.

i very much doubt its nVidia that is causing the problem...
the DBProAssist is the program which checks to make sure you have legal version of the software.

if it isn't working try uninstalling and reinstalling as no doubt the file has been corrupted along the way.
also make sure your using the DBpro CD in the drive you installed it from, and don't use a copy of the CD only use the official CD because when you copy the CD even if you use specific copying software you won't copy the protection part of it.

if all this fails, email Lee
