Hey I have a Voodoo 3 3000 16mb.
Now here is where it gets werid, in 16bit mode with any wondowed mode I get 200 - 400 frames a sec but in exclusive mode i get around 70, what going on here? I always thought and beleaved it takes more cpu power to create a window then to fill the screen with black and put new graphics on the screen, and also this happens when its only in 800, 600 , 16 mode any lower or higher it will act normal.

Any idea on what can be causing this to occur?

FSEX is always much slower - the reason why has been explained loads of times before .

FSEX is slower on most video cards. I know it was a helluvalot faster on my TNT2, but on my new Radeon 9500 Pro it's 1/5 as fast. How do you get rid of the annoy, horrific windows bar? Don't ask me, I've been wanting to know that one for a loooooong time .
