This mod looks sooo berry nice. Cant wait to see more. Cant wait any longer for migration and the other mods I already bought seem to have merged so I refuse to use them now until the new release is done if I ever use them at all.

This one looks to be above the rest so I will wait for this one and just use the unmodded FPSC for now.

Very nice puppysss. Almost makes me wanna go out right now and add a couple more gigs to my memory, and buy VERY expensive graphics card. All for the sake of this mod.

Hi Puppysss,

What you are doing is excellent.
However, if you release a beta version with discount to beta users and keep on adding upgrades, you will find things getting better.
Also you will get concrete bearings on the actual potential of your project.

Don't wait around for things to become perfect.
You make the best thing in the world, and the next modder that comes by will always find ways to improve upon it.

You got to deliver sometime. The line between perfectionism and procastination is very thin. Talented people fail trying to be perfect and missing the delivery time.

Don't worry. Consumers are always being used for beta testing even without information that they are buying a beta version. Marketers call it a full version with bugs.
Of course the bugs are addressed with time and features are added too.
But that doesn't stop companies from doing business till something is perfect.
If that happened windows 95 would not have been released ever. It's windows 7 now and still Microsoft cannot call it perfect.

Get up.Release your mod as beta. Put it at a discount, and pay your first customers for loyalty.

That's how you get returns. Not by waiting till everything gets perfect.

Finally radiosity lightmapping? in FPSC!? I've been waiting for this feature in FPSC ever since I've heard about the Source engine's radiosity lightmapping technique!

You definitely should try to squeeze this into v1.17!. This will make objects and geometry covered in shadow look more realistic!

Not much games. They mostly uase real time AO and other sort of selfshadowing shaders.

I know from my Source experience that HL2 uses a selfshadowing map, envolving normal map, self shadowing, and normal normal mapped shader.

It also uses a combination Heightmap, bump, a new bump in new basis, and thena all of that + ambient oclusion baked in with directional AO.

Anyway, not much games use radiosity (it is hard work for CPU).

And if i may be honest, those screens pupyyss showed, u barely see Radiosity.

If u want fake radiosity, u can always make ur map TOTALLY in 3ds max or other modeling system that support radiosity, and then just export to fpsc, and set bloom on. There you go same effect. Would require some shaders on the total scene. + some lights to make the fake lights baked in real for shaders.
