Yeah they are called Bamboo boards, and I got mine from the Wacom company..its great got it yesterday for christmas and I love it..the pen takes some getting used to but once you got it, it is amazing.

p.s: The pen took me about 1 hour to fully get used to so its not really that bad.

Bamboo fun is got. Its *was* lovely and white. Highly sensitive and im even using it to write with now. The programable buttons are amzing. I use ctrl, ctrl+shift+z (photoshop undo, Run photoshop since am lazy at times and a function pop up box that i use when i leave the keyboard ohn the floor.

srroy about the mistakes, its seems were not seeing eye to eye right now.

The title should be, What graphics tablet do you think is the best?

But with the other thread, you posed it as aharmless i forgot question. ^_^

Dont worry, be happy.
Looknig at about £50 -£70 for a half decent one. Amazon has the best deals right now and offer a Free business delivery once per household, so youll get it the next for free. Though do tick auto subscription off or they will take £30 a month off you.

I just got the Wacom Intuos4 Medium Tablet for christmas, its so awesome. The pen is pressure sensitive (obviously), has function buttons on it's tip that serve as right and left clicking for the mouse, and if you flip the pen you can use the back as an eraser! Also comes with a pretty decent "wireless" mouse (the mouse has no wire, but it only works on the wacom surface, and the surface is plugged into the comp via a usb... so not really wireless ). The surface itself has a nice texture, 6 function buttons, a wheel (similar to an iPod's selection wheel) that does different things based on the selected function (zoom in and out, change brush size, etc. ). Overall its a sweet package.

Oh, and to top it off it came with free licenses to Adobe Photoshop Elements, Corel Draw, and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro.

I've got the same one as RUCCUS, have had it since the Intuos4 was released, before that I had a Bamboo fun medium. They're bloody brilliant, that's all I can say. For Photoshop and sculpting there's nothing quite like it.

Oh and it's worth mentioning, if you're getting a tablet, get a wacom, there are a few other decent ones, but wacom's always on top in quality it seems.

The Intuos 4 Medium costs quite a bit, about 3500 kronor at cheapest, I suggest getting something like the Bamboo fun to start, and then move on to the more advanced stuff. I used the Bamboo for quite a while and it's a really good tablet as well.

I got a Bamboo Pen for Christmas, been mostly using it as a mouse and keyboard, once I got the handwriting recognition set up. Do the nibs actually wear out from use, or did they give me replacements in case I break one?

I will live forever or die trying.

I use a Wacom Bamboo, and at first its like trying to draw wearing a boxing glove and using a baseball bat as a pen but you get used to it. They all come with spare nibs.

Agreed start with the bamboo it will do everything you want, except make you draw better that comes with practice.

I give ip with thos baner fing as it never seems to work for me. I woll now stop wasting mu time.
