Two variations... snow and blood spattered.

These were requested in another thread and I hope others can use them.

The attached download contains both HUD images and a script for each.
To use: assign one of the scripts, (snow or blood) to any dynamic entity or light marker as it's main fpi script. If distance will be a factor, be sure to set the entity properties to always active.
Press G to put on or take off the goggles. Of course, you can create any type of activation script you like other than the ones I supplied.

Brian.

Cool, thanks.
Can you do a clean version? I mean without snow or blood

Looks cool, but I have a question. Why does everyone recommend that a script be applied to a dynamic light (rather than, say, a trigger zone)? Trigger Zones have never been a problem for me in terms of interaction.

@General Jackson,
Clean HUD image attached.

@marc steene,
Trigger zones work just fine if you use them as an entity. It's just that zones are normally reserved for events that you want to happen within or after entering a zone, and using a light is always active. I hope that makes sense, but either way will do.

Very nice! When you add the night vision script, this thing works wonders.

How did you make the texture transparent? Go to my Free HUDs collection thread, could you help out a bit?

Oh, and thanks, I've made gas-mask breathing sounds to go with this into Primordial

@PW Productions,
I responded in your thread. I'm sure no one would mind if you wanted to post the sound here for all to use.

@cram,
The link doesn't go anywhere. What was it?

Sure, but I have to adjust a few things; there was a lot of background noise and static. Give me... 20 minutes (most)?

-PwP

EDIT: Alright, managed to get most of the background noise out, sounded much better Download attached... Oh, and note that it is very slow, there is a pause after the second breath before it loops on purpose; it sounded better

I checked it out. Sounds perfect! I really don't have a use for the goggles right now, so it's gone to the vault for later use.

Thanks.

is there anyway to make a hurt zone that only hurts you if you are not wearing the goggles (so like a gas mask)?
