I can't seem to get either to work in Project Green. I saw a video where enemies practically exploded with blood after they got shot. also I bought one of EAI's guns and it was supposed to have ironsights enabled by default if you're using airmod- this however is not the case for me in fact I cannot zoom with the gun at all.

can anyone please help me? Is there some code or some files I am missing that are required to enable these effects?

Are you sure you have the mod installed correctly?

99% of the time this is why simplezoom/iron/open sights doesn't work with GCS weapons (the ones which come pre-set up for the feature).

It should say "Project Green" in the lower left corner of the debug info when you are running test game.

The blood spurting is controlled via the throwback scripts which you will need to manually replace or add the appropriate script actions to.

There should be new scripts included for throwback, throwfore, etc. These are internal scripts which are run when a character is knocked down or killed.

You can simply replace those scripts with the ones supplied (if not included with the mod, they should be included in the old AirMod 0.5 stand alone download on the AirMod site.

Otherwise, you can manually edit the throw[whatever] scripts yourself and add actions for bloodspurt=x or bloodsplash=x to the appropriate states. Consult the manual to see what the different settings are.

Depending on the mod/hardware though it can make your game laggy. My PC chokes using it with PB because of the much higher cap on number of decals... there's so many that it's like a solid stream and they overlap so much that the decal animation isn't easily seen and it wreaks havoc on z-sorting.

Yeah I thought they would be included in project green but I had to take them from 0.6.. the throwback works now, thanks guys. I had to reinstall the green mod to get the iron sight to work and WOW I am very impressed with your work Errant I noticed some of your guns have flashlight attachments, are does functional under project green?

No, they are just for decoration, however, it is possible to have a flashlight, it's on one of the free media sites, fps-files or fpsfree, I forgot. Fenix Mod will have a torch once merged with Horror Mod, and Project Blue will have Fenix Mod soon.
