is there a comand that allows you to delete all objects, sprites, images? i think i saw one once while i was looking through the command list but i can't find it now )-:
there has to be a better way of clearing things out with out running a for loop

I don't know about a delete all command. But I really see no point in why not use a for loop. Make it a function. So you can call it as often you want.

true i could do that, but i'd still have to call the function a bunch of times or use a loop in the function

the problem is when going from say a start page , setup page, to the game itself and then to the end or a different level, i have an unreasonable delay in loading time because i have so much "stuff" to delete.
i just wanted something that could clear it out a little faster

I think Ian may have a plug-in for deleting all objects.

Nope, no plugin for that - I'd have to do it exactly the same way as everyone else.

There are basically two options open to you, one of which you've already discussed.

The second is to put the object number into an array list each time that you create an object, remove it whenever you delete an object, and have a function that runs down it deleting the object numbers recorded there.

You can do it much easier.
Simply set the display mode to screen width(),screen height(),screen depth().
Then Dark Basic Pro deletes all media.

God is real, unless declared integer.
