Hello,
I'm new to FPSC, had it about a week now. I have a few questions that have been popping up while building my new game... I've listed them below if you can answer any of them I'd really appreciate it.
1. Can I increase the volume of a Soundzone?
2. How do I make characters walk back and forth or "patrol"?
3. How do I make text pop up on screen?
4. How can I change the sky/how can I make it look like I'm outside?

I know some of the answers to these 4 questions are on the forum somewhere but I assure you all I've done extensive searches and haven't come up with much that can help me.
Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi, welcome to the forums

1. I don't think you can do it inside FPSC itself. You'll need to edit the file in something like audacity and adjust it there.

2. You need to use waypoints. Waypoints are covered in the .pdf manual which you will find inside your FPSC directory (and accessible from within the editor in the help section)

3. You need to create text huds. Personally I use Signs to create text as it's quick and easy. It does cost money though so you might to use something like gimp to create your own.

4. You change the skyboxes from within FPSC. I'm pretty sure this is also covered in the manual.

If you have updated to the the latest version of FPSC you'll also find the official community guide in your docs folder, which is invaluable to new users and probably answers questions you will have soon.

you need to make an image, erase it all, then ut text over that. then get a script to make the huds disapear and appear as needed.

Kravenwolf did a tutorial on how to create text huds using gimp:
