Hi All

I thought I'd start to give something back to this great community. Unfortunately I'm no good at creating models, so I thought about music for games.

I will update this thread for all new tracks I post. As usual any comments are most welcome. If you would like to suggest some music, please do so - if you want it unique (not posted) please also let me know. I can do most styles to fit into any number of games

Track 1 - Dramatics - ogg format - 03:15 - 128kBit/s
Ideal for a movie or dramatic scene
Download Here

Track 2 - CityScape - ogg format - 03:27 - 128kBit/s
Grunge type of track ideal for outdoor or bunker area
Download Here

Track 3 - Apoc (Full & Ambience) - ogg format - 02.37 - 128kBit/s
Download Here

Added CityScape track.
Grunge type of track with a hip-hop feel - probably would'nt be out of place in Grand Theft Auto

cyberken69, I thought Dramatics was very good so I saved it. I think CityScape is excellent so I've started a folder for your work. Thanks for these.

If I can get this level I'm working on done, it'll def go with it. The thing is, as much as I love this sound, I don't want it all through the level constantly, so I'm going to have to find something to mix with it for some calm between the storms.

Do you have anything like that?

Brian.

Hi Brian,

I don't have anything like that made at the moment but will work on it for you tomorrow.

Im guessing here - I take it, it is for ambience in the game rather than a track to overlay the action? if so can you let me know what style you would like - spooky, chill ect and I'll get that done for you

If you prefer I could strip back the track so that the basic sound is there - for Dramtics I could just have the chant or the drums in the backgound, making more emphasis on the gameplay

Hey, thanks for the quick reply.

You're right, it would be for ambiance. The setting is an old, decaying city at night, almost post apocalyptic, but not in ruins. All that remains is the criminal element. The mood should be tense, but I want it to fade and increase in intensity.

I guess I would like the music to start out strong, and then fade into some ambiance, the music still playing occasionally in the background. Does that make sense? I'll leave it to you, I'm not the music guy.

Hi Brian,
Ive uploaded 2 for you to listen to. Both are the same track, the ambient one has the piano and violins removed to make it more of a background track. Let me know if thats the sort of thing youre after

Ken,

Those are great, but a little "drummy" for what I was thinking. See attached. I'll put them back for another time. I can use the CityScape for sure and I don't want to keep bugging you. Anyway, this game is going to take forever.

Brian.
