Hmm, not bad... A little loading screen with a start button would've been nice instead of rushing into the actual gameplay.

Also, the "press any key to continue" isn't true. It doesn't take into account the arrow keys, and I tried ctrl too and that didn't work either.

But, not bad

Hmm, that's weird. I used

for that. I wonder why it doesn't work. Anyone know?

i'm pretty sure it's because inkey$() returns a string and there are no string values for the arrowkeys, ctrl, shift, etc (hence, inkey$() does = "" in these cases). it's not meant to function exactly like wait key, which would have been more appropriate/delivered what i think you want.

Well, when I did my remake of Pong

I just used "wait key" for when it said to press any key to continue...

Its great but I have a bug.
When it says press any key to continue nothing happens when you press one of the arrow keys.

I used inkey$ because it's pat of a "while" loop. I could always change it since nothing is going on in the background. I'll work on that, a title screen, and make it to where you can set the difficulty rather than have it randomly selected each round.

Couldn't you just check if scancode() is greater than 0?

UPDATED VERSION:

Version 1.0.1 released, this one has the improvements I just mentioned:

-A title screen!
-Selectable difficulty levels, rather than having the game randomly select them each round
-no more "Any Key" bug!

Thanks everybody who commented! I hope everyone likes the update.
