Hi,
Thanks for looking.

So here's my issue; if god be willing, I hope to buy the new 1500$ mac pro,
And run FPSC software via parallel desktops.

I herd this is impossible, but there are no solid facts that I could find.
I'd greatly appreciative if somone would let me
Know the specifics on this. Ie-vista or xp, and graphical limits (pls be shader 2.0 comp!?)

Thank you so very much.

I am not sure whether FPSC works on Mac OS X but don't give up as I am not completely sure.

If you mean running through boot camp then yes, I'm doing it right now. And I would suggest getting xp, vista is my least favorite of all the Windows operating systems.

Hope This Helps

not quite...My PF usage on a fresh install of XP is 200 megs/ram. On win 7 its over a gig.

Hope This Helps

OH! how wonderful!

So Zeza, you mean to say that through "boot camping"
(choosing either to run windows or osx on start up)
Rather than Parallel (running win as an app.) would work?!

Thanks so much, I thought that was the case, as parallel
was said to have difficulty working with the graphic chips
through an applicational stand point.

But what if it's the new OS X 'Snow'?
Does snow maintain a boot camp option?

Aswell, I agree with using windows XP, it seems the safest and cheapest option. Though I heard microsoft is pulling it off the shelves for good.
