Good Day,

Per the suggestion of Mr. Bamber, I would like to introduce The Game Creators Limited Developers to a product that I have been developing for the Community. I write trade books and noticed that this ten Billion Dollar per year industry is somewhat lacking in accompaniment works for its products, so I am proposing a business opportunity involving the use of either my scripted works [suited for a character’s monologue or group effect that constitutes the video game’s film score when the video game is the film] or the production of a trade book to accompany a Developer’s existing Video Game.

Being a straightforward businessman and not a professional programmer, I would propose that if you are interested in this service after reading the included draft of a video game script that I wrote in under two weeks [enclosed as attachment], that I write a script for your product at my sole expense and while retaining the rights to the work of fiction and that the satisfied customer agree to an arrangement in which I receive the standard 10% Royalty on each unit and volume sold as an electronic book accompanying your FPS Video Product.

Mr. Bamber, as I am certain you all realize, is a generous spirit and has a truly fine product that should become the next lego-styled product, so it is my hope that his Company achieves even greater success marketing these combination products [FPS Game/Video Film with audio track/e-book] and that this same platform will become the standard when a Developer pitches their product to a Film/Gaming Studio for its ability to add value to the moiety.

In the included attachment [which you are entitled to make one copy of, but may not distribute], a Chapter from the sixth and final book of the Gammaverse Series [Fate’s Accomplice, Cadavarice, Gammaverse - The Fringe, Gammaverse – Trauma Center, Gammaverse – The Enemy Within and Gammaverse – Prophesy Theory and The Tree of Life [available at all online bookstores]] involving the infiltration of a secret Russian Military Installation is described.

If you find this easily developed story exciting, please feel free to make an F.P.S. for the story and see if this isn’t an exciting way to build great levels and market the products.

Mr. Bamber has also generously suggested that if this is a successful endeavor for you, we attempt to entice a review from the professional Developers monitoring the forum and then beg Mr. Bamber on our hands and knees [if necessary] to market these products on a link-site or through an interested affiliate.
Under these circumstances, the Author would be happy to participate in a freeware product related to our work as an advertisement and to negotiate up to a 50% interest in eventual fee-based distributions with the developers related to the many other sections of my trade books that can be converted to FPS game packages.

The Author is always happy to prepare works for sale under a pseudonym or the Developer’s Company’s Name, rather than the Author’s Name, though this requires a standard Agreement and separate Copyright TX form establishing the product as a Work-For-Hire and this tends to involve the payment of the Author for the service under a separate Contract. The Author understands that having one’s products separated under Company names can be attractive when selling one’s FPS Games, so don’t be shy and the Author will never be offended.

Thank you for your consideration.

The Author writes full-time, so if you are interested in having a full story or Chapter-length script written for your FPS game; or simply want to send a comment on the included attachment, please e-mail the Author at [email protected]

We could own the Gaming Industry for the next year with this concept and The Game Creators Limited’s support, given that we could offer great products for under $10.00 during this rough economy. I know that I have the product that you need if you have the interest in full-time development. The only thing that we are missing is a solid marketing outlet and if we can convince Mr. Bamber that we’ll sign almost anything for his assistance, we can all face our parents again and afford Christmas gifts.

This advertisement accompanies the attachment, for your records.

Peace.

I just read your post twice and it makes almost no sense to me. The writing style is so unclear that it looks like a computer translated text. Going through the attachment it became only a little clearer.

If I understand it right you want to sell literature along with FPS Creator made games? Well, let’s be honest here: an e-book coupled with an unrelated game might not be the ideal sales proposition. Even if book and game is related then it still sounds a bit like shoehorning two products together. I Loved Mass Effect on Xbox 360 and therefore I bought the two books afterwards. I probably wouldn’t have bought them together in a bundle in the first place if I didn’t know I would love the game. Another question is: are gamers generally book readers? My bet would be no. A few games like Halo and Doom can produce a book following but these are the exception rather than the rule.

Even worse is the fact that FPS Creator games aren’t exactly big sellers. I believe we can count on one hand how many FPSC games have sold more than ten copies through the five years FPSC has existed. Not exactly something you would build an enterprise on.

That makes NO sense whatsoever. What are you proposing?

yeah. It was actually pretty clear. just- he writes scripts for games, and they come with the game. It'd give us all a good reason to put an "extras" folder in our game folder.
