Is it possible to set a multiplayer game so that players spawn with certain weapons? Rather that just the Colt. I would like to be able set it so players can join with an assault Rifle, Pistol and Knife.

You have to edit the character scripts by changing the gamecore line

There may be a tutorial in the scripting section
