sorry if this is wrong place to post, i just really want to get back into fpsc.

hey guys, im really looking foreward to work agian in fpsc on my new windows 7 computer, unfourtanetly when i go to enter my name, it dosent accept it. it will accept the serial.

should i download the free version, then enter my serial and name?

I think the name is irrelevant. I know that I have installed it on my computer using a few different names or variations thereof. If something is not accepted, it would be the serial number.

Make sure you use the proper upper/lower case letters and remember there is no letter "O", only zeros.

If the serial is invalid then the name field is cleared (during the installshield wizard process). This might be why you think the name is wrong.
