Feelt that its time to make an work in progress section for this game
Iam making this game while iam learning some stuff about ai programming for fun.

And i simply loved space crusade on the amiga and feelt like doing some type of clone of it?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsAYvg0JLyI
But i also loves the avp and alien movies!
So why dont combine the two
Hopefully will i finish this project
As i simply dont have much time anymore

Here is the sample of the ai i made for starters.

Thanks.
Have bin working today with the field of view on the units among many things.
Wanted that dark and scary look from alien 2 the movie
The aliens will only be visible if they are in the field of view and they can sneak up on you from behinde.

The only reason iam making this game in an small resolution window is because iam to lazy to draw detailed grafix

Thanks its always nice to hear that people like wath you are doing
The mini map will have an big part in the game !when you scan areas so will enemys appear as blips on it for an short while when you use the scanner.
But you dont know wath size and dont know when they moved after using the scanner as it will be limited betwen turns.

There is alot of things iam still thinking about and dont know if they will be implented yet ?

Will try to get an basic battle engine and enemys in to it this week,so that i can put up an small beta at the end of the week

Iam thinking about doing some type of fog of war on the mini map ?
But not sure as the game would be to hard then ?

Edited...................
Worked on a few glitches on the field of view code
But also finished the unit point to ide and code
screenie is included.
Thought this whas the best and simpliest method.

Still working on this even if its slow very slow
Still working on the battle system that is proving to be an slow task
Added health and action point markers around the units.
You will be able to turn them off.
Also improved the map size a bit
And a bunch of other stuff.
