Here's a model of the standard lego minifigure. This will be the first model that I fully animate, and I wanted something vaguely humanoid to animate, yet easy to model -- So what better puppet than a plastic lego man?

I'm still in the process of animating, so far I've got two animations down -- A standard "idle" and a "waving" animation. I hope to do a full set of walking, running, etc animations, along with the proper "transitions" to and from the idle position. He also has extra bones attached to his hands, head, and neck -- The idea is that you could load in any extra accessories and then they could simply be glued to those limbs in DBP, so you have an easy method of customization.

The model has 535 vertices and 978 triangles, and is modeled in Milkshape 3D.

Once it's all said and done I'll probably post the model in .x and .ms3d format, along with the proper UVMaps and a standard texture.

Im not sure about Milkshape as I haven't used it before, but if your modeling program allows you to change a limb's Pivot position (the 3d point that a given limb rotates ("pivots") around and get's it's position data from) you can remove the need for extra invisible limbs to signify where weapons should go by simply changing the hand's pivot positions to be where you'd like to glue these accessories. It'll work especially well with something like a lego character as the hands aren't deforming at all, not that that really would change things much.

However if you want to maintain the ability to change the 3d location of the Right and Left accessories inside DBP with code, then you'd want to leave it as is. Just a suggestion, no need for extra limbs if all you're using them for is static position data.

Other than that, the model looks great. Just like a lego character.
