Hello, I am running Visual C++ 2008 express edition as a part of an into to programming class at school. I am doing my schoolwork in a virtual machine since I use linux, I wrote a sample program from my text book today and was thrown a handful of runtime errors; "Failed to get device caps" "failed to find valid stencil buffer" "unable to create device" and "unable to setup 3D device". I hope this is not due to me using virtualbox to run windows, I really don't want to reformat to windows just for this class. I am running windows vista if that helps and if any more information is needed I can provide it.
