Dark GDK / What world editor did they use in the DarkGDK's World Demo?

I looked at the source and all they had to load was a PackFile and a .BSP file and BOOM!, they had collision with a lightmapped world with animating textures. Other than the sky-box, they were pretty much done as far as the world went.

I'm trying to figure out what tools they used to produce that world (like, what world editors were used) because I don't think 3D World Studio or Cartography Shop can compile .BSP files and the BSP compiler in Dark Basic Pro.

Thanks,
Craig

You can use the Hammer Editor, that's what is used to make custom Counter-Strike/Half Life Maps I believe.

I've used it before, it's pretty simple to use and exports to .bsp

I haven't tested the .bsp maps in DGDK to see if they work though.

Let me know if you do take this approach and it's successful!

EDIT:

Sorry I missed the main question, I didn't know what they used. But I know Hammer can export to .bsp!

You can use Radiant (Quake3) too.
And I think Valve's Hammer was called WorldCraft before.
I once tried both some time ago, and I could successfully load the BSPs they produced.

Now the plot thickens, the fps decreases, and the awesomeness goes through the roof.

Not quite sure, but you can use Radiant or WorldCraft without the games.

Here are some links:
GtkRadiant
WorldCraft
