I wasn't going to bother with this, until I recieved a certain email from pdidy, so I took the liberty of replacing the textures in my map in source with the one in question. (keep in mind, in the source shot the texture is rotated 90 degrees.

Source:

Pdidy's shot:

If you ask me they're quite similar.

There is no way to tell if they are similar from the shots you've provided; do you have any idea as to the shear number of tileable brick textures there are on the internet? The only way (other than a direct wall shot, lit properly, from both examples) to tell for sure, is to lay the textures out in 2D...side by side.

Some textures are very easy to tell if they are ripped; even on a 3D model. Brick textures are a dime a dozen (unless they have features on them, such as moss or dirt).

I'm sorry; but I don't see the similarities you do.

I'll try to replicate the lighting conditions he has in that shot, I may be wrong anyway, but I feel convinced they are the same.

EDIT; Changed image above, thats the best I can do unfortunatly.

Hi guys just a small little update.Just to inform you guys part two of the concrete tunnel pack will be up tomorrow or the day after just have to test and make the bmp icons...

I decided that I will not be using these for my game after all I did all the hard work on them for the last week and a half so I might as well release them.

Another 35+ meshes to add to the collection...

Enjoy here is a small preview.

BTW the pack has been tested in X10 v1.1 with no problems except for the one large round pillar that has a positioning problem that I will fix in the next release as well as adding the texture maps for shaders....

Okay guys busy with the bitmaps that is really quick however it is a few more extra segment now with the added pipe sections and the CSG have to be added to the older segments as well now.

Have removed about 4 meshes from the new mesh sets that I felt wasn't what this pack needed.

The screeny shows the pipe sections for the walls.I decided for the ones underneath I will add a straight section CSG that will cut room segments which will cause a lot less problems...

So maybe another 1 hour or so I hope....

The total tally is 71 meshes now.

Thanks Guys I have found one or two problems. The wall pipe needs to be adjusted 5 units or so upwards...

Yeah the new pipe sections really add some thing new to Levels.

Thank you wizard of id, it looks like you put a lot of work
in these and it shows. These will come in very handy, especially
for a non-modeller like myself.

Okay I had a few mins to have a look at this problem.I have to modify the floor grate pipe meshes by 5 units to allow this.

I do not have much time right now so I will do it ASAP when I get A chance to do so....

Just a small update.I decided not to fix the small problem. After I am done with the sewer system I will be looking at this again and rework it with some thing similar to the smoothing I have done with the sewer system and the walls....

Thanks Enjoy your day.
