I am running into some problems with Full Screen Exclusive Mode vs. Windowed - Full Screen Mode. I am using the BLUE DBPro plugin to create windows elements like radio buttons, but in Full Screen Exclusive mode, they don't show up. Has anyone figured out why this doesn't work?

I can get it to show up in Windowed - Full Screen Mode but even then it appears as though DBPro is just stretching it's graphical elements and the BLUE continues to render at the native windows resolution. This is a problem because my game is running in 800x600 mode and the windows gadgets are appearing in my native windows resolution of 1280x1024.

This is also the case for mouse cursors. Just wondering if anyone has the solution to my problem.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

As far as I am aware you cannot display windows gadgets upon a DX-Exclusive display. They are still active, but on the (hidden) desktop.

This is also happens with native DBPro errors. When an error is encountered, the display is shut down before the message is displayed.

Ah, I see. What would you recommend then, not use Exclusive mode? Is there anyway to reveal the hidden desktop in Exclusive mode?

u can hide and show the application as they appear behind the exclusive window. IF you want you can use a desktop mode which makes them appear forward.

Yes, you can do this in exclusive mode:

BTW, you will probably lose any media that you have loaded when you do this in exclusive mode.

I would suggest that you stick with windowed-fullscreen mode.
