I have been playing around with FPS creator recently and was wondering if it was possible to modify the game menu that is built automatically when building your FPS game. Is this possible?

Also, even for the most simplest of games, i experience major lag of frame rates. Why is it so bad?

for the menu, you need to edit the script in build game. fpsc comes with a few extra immages, and you can make your own. What are your system specs? do you have the latest version of fpsc? do you have the latest direct x? I reccomend getting fenix mod, it has a ton of features and the new version will be out soon. also, it is free.

welcome to the forum, and I hope to see you around.

Hello Hador thankyou.

My specs:

RAM: 3GB
Dual Core CPU 2.00GHZ
32 bit
Windows Vista
Inspiron 1545

I was playing Eldor and the frame rates are fantastic - then all of a sudden it would randomly lag down to 1-2 fps. I downloaded fenix and it came with a script folder and .exe. I placed the script folder in the directory but when i run the .exe nothing happens, not too sure how to use all of this and no idea why it lags.

You do not run the exe. Go to your FPSC directory, and find where you have the FPSC-Game.exe file. Rename that to something like FPSC-Gameoriginal.exe, then copy and paste the Fenix Mod FPSC-Game file into that spot. Find out where the script files are meant to go in the scriptbank under the FPS Creator Files directory, and place them there. The when you test your game it will use the NEW FPSC-Game file which is the Fenix Mod. PS The Fenix Mod FPSC-Game file MUST not be renamed.

Thankyou TerrorNation.

Guys im still experiencing seriously low framerates (there is no actual lag per se, for example my computer isnt struggling to play it, its just that the fps are pathetically low for the most basic of games).
I built a square ground with an alien (neutral) following a waypoint and the framerates plummet to the point where it is irritating to play. What is causing this problem? If my specs can handle GTA 4, it can handle FPSC X10!

To more fps and performance you try using my mod with -X- Rendering System, or Efx mod with timer system.
