Hi there.

I've been having a series of build errors lately. I just CAN'T get my levels to build without some sort of error arising. It's been one debug error after another and I've been gradually fixed each. However, this one has got me stumped.

"Loading Fragments" is now where the errors appear. It occurs on all lightmap settings (Quality and Performance) and occurs regardless of whether shader effects are on or off. The build only works if I turn lightmaps off (which isn't exactly an option when building your game).

I am completely stuck with this and am on the verge of just giving up completely. So as a last ditch attempt I'm wondering - what exactly are fragments? If I know roughly what they are I can perhaps source the problem. I had originally posted about the error on Bug Report but had only got one response (I was told to try using a mod - this just made matters worse).

Let me add that this thread isn't a bug report. I'd just like to know more about the workings of FPSC. I'm running 1.16, no mods.

Hm...did you ever change any settings in your setup.ini file? If not, try reinstalling. I can't really suggest anything else :S

I did a full reinstall and haven't touched the setup.ini.

Are you using any custom segments that may cause this problem ?

Windows 7, Amd Athlon 7750 Black Editon (64 bit,3ghz + Dual Core), ATI Readon HD 4870 1gb Edition, 4gb Ram.

Hi. Yes, I have some custom segments (mainly cosmic prophets sci-fi ones.)

I managed to fix the fragments issue It turned out to be a decal which FPSC was having problems registering was there. Sadly I now get an error at the stage just after fragments - "Entity instances".

Also, here is something interesting:

In "Visuals" where the option to turn shader effects on or off, this option has appeared. It wasn't there before and it seems quite random. Any ideas?
