Hi, For all you guys who don't visit RGT, here is a few W.I.P shots from my upcoming editor. Yes, it has syntax highlighting and scope folding

That is unbelievably scary, I just scanned this forum for IDE's and saw it. That is well weired. However, it looks like he has changed the style of his xp sidebar.

Oh, well, it must be that great minds think alike.

Can you give me link to RGT forum?
It look like there is IDE mania there. I also work on IDE.

True.

True. Very true.

I was very suspicious at first

I didn't change the style of the sidebar, that's just windowblinds doing that. I can give you a screen with the xp style in if you want.

You just need tabs now

Just wondering how you got the function folding in Codemax / codesense. Looks like some sort of custom breakpoint image.

Hi,

David89, I am using some custom controls for my editor, so I am not using codemax / codesense. The xp style sidebar must be different to yours because mine acts more like the xp ones where it takes on the style of the current system, or blue for non xp systems.

The scope system is included with the code box control.

Hehe, I'm not using tabs, but mdi children, so you can resize each window seperatley.

Mine does too... just that my windowblinds skin forces it to don the old style bar IIRC.

I am using MDI too - but there is a tabstrip along the top with all MDI windows in, so it's the best of both worlds.

That skin thing sounds cool, but my xp thingy is very much xp orientated, and so it doesn't do the other effects you had, but they look cool

You can choose the mdi window from the menu bar, or the xp side bar.

Yeah, i just put it in 'cos if people despise xp they usually use the classes theme, so my app won't annoy them

Megaton, remain in the past then...

New beta...

General fixes
Plugin support with 'how to be a plugin' textfile
last file opened memory
help support
umm, and other stuff. The only thing remaining is the macro support which I will do tomorrow and then I probably can move out of the beta stage. Depends on the results from this one.

Get it at, www.levelmaker3d.co.uk/ide/setup.exe

Thanks
