I think it should, but don't quote me. Just try it, it won't implode your computer... I think.

I don't use FPSC, but if it can use transparencies on objects it shouldn't be a problem. I would suggest making a simple box, texturing it half red (or any color) and then leaving the other half empty(transparent) Load it in FPSC and see what happens!

If it doesn't work, then you don't need to waste your time doing transparencies while texturing your character. If it does work... Well, there ya go!

Not everyone in 3D chat will know the answer to this, but there are some pretty sharp folks over in the FPSC Models and Media board that might be able to help!

Good luck!

There's something in this room that makes you can't speak well.

transparencies do work in fpsc fine, but not like this, not the way he is wanting to do it any how.

make you texture in PNG (Width transparency)..
(Size=power of 2 or not work)*
Download Free version of DDS converter 2.0
http://www.filefront.com/3577988/DDS-Converter-2-1.0/

and convert your png texture to DDs.. and ready...

*Size Power of 2:
128x128
256x128
256x256
etc... is an old rule, com from display command in basic to plot graphics in screen (1984 old sistem)
2-4-8-16-32-64-128-256-512-1024 etc... power of 2..

take care friend...
