Long story short: In my typography and 2D design class, we had to discuss the design decisions of our chosen can of beer. I decided to let a can do the talking for me in the form of a 3 minute 3D animation.

I modeled / textured / animated / voiced / composited everything myself. Started at 1:00 PM yesterday and worked through the night until 7:00 AM this morning. Haven't slept yet... ugh.

Anyways, I know my dutch accent is way off. By the time I got to the voicing it was like 3 in the morning, I was way too tired to put any effort into the voices, but I tried. I was aiming for a similar sound to Bruno but less flamboyant (the movie... if you've seen it you know what I mean. By the guy that did Borat). I actually really wish I tried harder on the voice, as impersonations are one of my "things".

Anyways, let me know what you think lol. I got a perfect on it, considering she was only expecting a powerpoint presentation from everyone . I thought it was pretty cool.

P.S: Had to cut down on render tricks (no ray tracing for one thing) because of the tight schedule. Didn't have enough time to render anything too high quality or complex.

It kinda does!

I was a little confused with the table at first, but otherwise it was a pretty clever video. Much better than a powerpoint presentation!

There's something in this room that makes you can't speak well.

Why the bold dutch? I said it was dutch in the video lol...

Unless thats towards the Deutschland part in the video. If it was, I know Deutschland isn't Dutch I just liked the sound .

haha, i was also like...?huh?

Its kind of misleading the random "Deutschland", it looks like you really think that Dutch stands for Deutschland.
So i hope more people would understand that.

Anyway nice looking vid. I know you had a tight schedule, but i think it would have looked better if you at least modeled the background.
like a simple pub. Or maybe some packages in the background labeled heineken or something like that. (warehouse idea)
