Desert Compound Arena

Developed By:

Cherd of IndieGameSoftware - www.indiegamesoftware.co.nr

Description:

A multiplayer arena based around middle eastern conflict, particularly the ISAF mission in Afghanistan. Weapons include Model Pack 5 guns. ISAF Soldiers loadout with British Standard SA80s and insurgents with AK47s. Obviously being a multiplayer game there is no accompanying story (Unless you count the ousting of the Taliban for human rights abuses and international terrorism as a back story).

Features include:
- Up to 4 players.
- Good hiding places, sniping sites and plenty of stuff to duck behind when taking heavy fire.
- Detailed lightmapping, low ambience and fog that gives low visibility to make the action more exciting and discourage sniping campers.

Also if anyone wants to arrange games feel free to do it on this thread until I get the forum up and running on my website. This may be the first in a series of multiplayer games with a modern combat theme.

Of course! I've added him in. It was his MP5 weapons that made me want to do this type of arena in the first place, just took me 2 years to get around to it.

Once a few people have posted and downloaded I'll start hosting games, hopefully within the next 2/3 hours.

Wanna play, anyone!?

I walked around the map and it was real nice! There was a lot of places for Snipers and the enviroment was good in any way. There was hiding places and the fact that it's one shot kill, makes it even more exiting! You make me want to do Multiplayer maps too! Maby I'll make couple for CotN.

I've updated my website considerably lately and it now has a forum which you can all use to organise games. You can also chat about FPSC related stuff.

I'll be hosting games today to try and boost this thing, between 12:30 and 13:00 GMT (longer if anyone plays, I'll stop there if they don't). And then again later on if more people are on here and interested.

Hey there's been over a hundred downloads now but I can't find any hosts, sorry I've been absent for a while (uni stuff), I've now began work on ideas for additional maps within the same series. If you wanna play at a particular time leave a message on here and i'll try to host at the right time if possible.
