I tried downloading EVERY single game on the showcase and NONE of them work

It's hard to help when you're not really telling us anything. But if I had to guess, I would say you don't have an unzipping tool on your computer, so after you download the game files, you're not extracting them. You can't run a zip file.

Wow, there's some good games so that's sad. But can you unzip them? If no, then get winZIP or WinRAR or something like that. But if there is error or something, then what kind of error?

Go to Microsoft.com and search for DirectX. Most likely you need a software update for DirectX if no games will run.

Make sure you have the latest DirectX9 or 10

also check out fpsfree.com and at the bottom of the page theres "Can this PC run an FPSC game?"
