Well, I've been wondering, because I can't build game... (Lair of the Antichrist)...
In the first map, where it crashes, there's about 1000 entities, of which about 20-30 are characters.
So... I've been wondering, is there any way to build it, or does it go over the limit of FPSC? I've tried with Fenix Mod, and regular FPSC, both crash....

When you say "crash", exacly what do you mean`?
It simply closes the program with an error - or does it freeze up?

a good re-install will serve you well, also, when they say you can build 50 large scale levels, that means if you have a computer with specs at or better than this: (est)

intel quad core extreme @ 3.10 GHz
16 GB RAM
Dual Nvidia GTX 295 SLI

or above.

16 GB RAM? What kind of computer are you running? Most common PC's can only hold between 4-8 (note I said common), if you were being sarcastic perhaps I don't get it.

haha, for you need 4 gb of ram, 8 cores of procesors (intel only) and graphics card edition quadro from Nvidia, Why? why fps creator need calculate all entitys and segments, its really slow with 1000 entitys.

Mid to high end mobos have 3-4 ram slots, and there are 4gb sticks available; 4*4=16.

I have 8gb of ram, I think.
But well... Reinstalling is kinda a pain, because then all the entities, segments, and all, would be uninstalled, and the levels, and all! So I really don't want to do that... But I have ran the 1.16 update many times with no help.
Also, by crashing, well, I mean it gives an error, that it needs to close.

No it's not gonna delete all your levels and custom entities by reinstalling.

I think this is a memory issue. I believe Lee is going to implement a tool which lets you know how much memory will be needed when building a game.

I'm pretty sure you're going to have to remove some entities in order to build your game.

Yes, but the fact is that every processor has a limited amount of RAM that it can support, I have 4 slots in my motherboard, but I can only have up to 4gb of RAM, as that is all my processor supports. I love when people believe that a crapload of RAM fixes everything. AIDS in Africa? No problem, more RAM. Poverty? RAM!

I can support up to 8 gb of ram, but I've used PCs with upwards of 16 gb. yes I was being sarcastic.

Taking the forum back to the original question, and away from peoples pc specs, 1000 entities sounds like an awful lot. I'm sure some of them could be removed without ruining your level. Just remember the more you implement in your levels, doesn't necessarily mean that your levels will be of better quality. But aye, this does sound like a memory problem, and if you were thinking of releasing this for other people to use, I'm sure it'd cause them a lot of problems too!

Life's just a game.

..it was probably made using FPSC.
