These are instructions on how to get missing media for Model Pack 3; Double Doors, Window Scripts, Shelves and Containers.


The English version of M3 does not contain the same amount of media it did in the past. If you are looking for something, but cannot find it then download the German version of M3, and it should magically reappear.

have you tried to redownload, assuming you bought the pack.lol

I don't have the shelves either. it's a little annoying as that's one of the reasons I bought the pack.

they are on mine. delete all dbo and bin files

You are looking in the segment bank and not the entity bank for the double doors?


As for the shelves and containers, they both have their own folders within model pack in the entity bank, So they should be easy to find.


Check your FPSC directory and see if the folders are there. If not reinstall the pack.

I dont have A containers or shelves folder, i will try reinstalling.

Edit: Still not there.
Anyway you could send me the files, Thraxas? Would that be legal? I mean i did buy the pack and dont have everything i paid for.

Try this:
- uninstall the pack
- reinstall the pack

if that still doesnt work:
- install in a dummy FPSC folder to check what gets installed and where

In case you find my grammar and spelling weird ---> native German speaker ^^

I know you have the pack GJ but I can't email you the files...

StoryTeller's suggestion to install it to a dummy folder is a good one. You should be able to check then that the folders are created on installation.

Your folder in the entity bank labelled "M3" should look like this:

Wow, I got back into FPSC about 2 weeks ago now
I had bought MP3 about 2 years ago, so I downloaded the file directly from TGC.
I have no double doors or shelves either, and I only just noticed it, as it was a year and a half ago that I even did any of this...
I think the problem is in the download..
The file that is hosted by them must not include them or something?

Well I just dug out my model pack backup cd. The model pack 3 that I have is 48.1MB if I go to my oder history and download model pack 3 it's only 40.4MB so obviously some things have been removed from the model pack. It must be the containers and shelves.

I'm not sure why they were removed or even reading about the fact that they were

EDIT
I just noticed that I also have a model pack 3 German version listed in my order history which is larger than the 'English' version... try downloading that one and see if it has the containers and shelves

I think they got changed during an update for mp3 and mp5, possibly, I'm glad I have my backup's.

Okay, I'll try downloading the German version. Seems the media has been removed, either deliberately or accidentally, noone seems to know.

Anyway, heres a screenshot of my M3 folder, in my entitybank(complete with super-compression). Notice there is no 'Shelves' or 'Containers' folder. My 'segments' folder does not contain the double doors either.

Okay, I have downloaded and installed the German verrion... PROBLEM SOLVED. I'll update my first post to include any information for anyone in the future with this problem.

I have the same problem, I own M3 but when I downloaded a pack update from my order history I found that the shelves and containers were missing. I brought this up about a year ago on another thread and have been meaning to email support about this.

Also, I don't even have a German version in my order history.

Maybe a Mod could look into this?

I didn't buy the German version either. Just the regular version, but the German version is listed in my (and it would seem other's) Order History as an available download.

I see no reason why you wouldn't have it listed in yours

Just found the German version in my history, I was confused by the slightly different layout with the new website.

I have my missing media back. Strange it's missing from the English version.

I think it was because the shelves must be dynamic to work properly so they show the whole texture.
