I have just read that BlackFox and BlueFox have stepped down from Project Blue ownership, and it has now been passed on to HockeyKid.
What does this mean for the future of PB and the merge with Fenix?

As I recall, Hockeykid was/is the current developer of Project Blue (after S4real and Plystire), as well as he is the developer behind Fenixmod. So I bet there is no difference...

But I may be wrong

Well, since Hockeykid is the programmer of Fenix Mod and good friends with Ply, I would imagine he'll still be merging his mod with PB, and working on the 1.8 release.

EDIT: Cyborg Arts beat me to it

Will HockeyKid say whether the mod stays at $28 USD or becomes a lower price/free?

I imagine he would announce any price changes if they are made, but Project Blue isn't going to be free, especially when more features are being added to it.

With the recent news in the FPSC migration thread we need Project Blue more than ever now.

Hope this isn't going to have any impact on the release schedule BlackFox outlined before.

Definitely. I was hoping for nicer multiplayer at LEAST.

Project Blue sports Lemur multiplayer, such as team deathmatch.

Whether or not any more expansions to MP will be made in PB has yet to be decided. It's up to hockeykid, but he has enough on his plate right now. So, if everyone could bear with him during this time, it would be great.
