Is there a way to retrieve and assign a transformation matrix (matrix4) from and to an object?

It is kind of baffling that DBPro has a full complement of matrix4 manipulation commands with no way to actually apply them to objects.

Not directly, no. You'll need to apply your matrix to a zeroed vector3/4 and then access the coordinates from that.

Nope. I had been looking for this for some time. Lee told me that it won't be implemented in the near future.
