I have tried to do a few things with the trial version of Dark basic, and it seems to me like it is clunky and complains alot. And when it complains, it always seems to point you to the last line in the main loop, instead of the line where the problem actually occurs. Is it the same with the registered copy of Dark Basic? I have tried to learn c++, and although I can do some pretty neat stuff with c++, it seems that darkbasic might make it easier. I was thinking about buying dark basic, but if the registered copy behaves anything like the trial copy, I might stick with c++. Any thoughts?

I presume you mean enhancement - which is a download/purchase.

Post some sample code. The only reason DB would say the error is on the last line is typically with nesting mistakes (failure to close an if/do/repeat section properly).

DB only 'complains' if you the coder have done something wrong . Er, it SHOULD only complain that is... if it's Classic then chances are it's a problem in your code. If it's Pro, it just might be a bug. What's your exact problem?

It may be a problem in an included file. If it is, copy the function into the main source file while you track down the problem.

No one noticed the spelling error in the title .

You didn’t kick them, you just pushed them with your foot at a very high velocity!
