Since I switched to a new PC last year FPS editor and games (others than my own including FPS X10 games)everything looks pixelish and shaders wont work properly (bond1's shaders DO work but I have no clue why)

I tried to run FPSCreator and FPS-game.exe in XP SP2 combatibility mode but it doesnt change anything.

I inlucluded my specs from the dxdiag, any help is appreciated as this really really keeps me from working on a profesional(free)game.

Vista uses a different version of direct x
There is a workaround for this that involves manually installing direct x but I personally do not have the confidence to try it.
Alternatively the usual problem of things looking and acting differently on vista involves the use of a next generation card such as nvidia 8800 and above trying to communicate with an old motherboard. My own vista system crashed eventually because of this and I had to put the original 7300 card back to restore it to normal.
If you have installed a new card then your situation could be the same.
hope this helps

Thanks for the input - unfortunately my comp is completly new 09/2009 with its original card.

I'll think about installing DX9 to use it with FPSC....
