So I've recently learnt to mod (yesterday) via Lewis' tutorial on youtube and I've tried it out on the G36C. Just thought I'd try to show off a bit here....

These will most likely be featured in my game.

Wow, what a coincidence, I just modded the G36 yesterday too. Though I got to admit, yours looks a lot better than mine.
Edit: Where'd you find that scope? It looks amazing.

Hope This Helps

If you look at the ironsights thread, that's a good start, to correct the tilt, follow teamhalo's tutorial here http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=159681&b=24

WHOA!! Is that FPS Creators?//!??1?

(kidding)

I wish we could have sights like that, graphics like that, and gameplay like that in FPSC. But for some odd reason, I feel that day will come.

Cheers bootlicker, your mods look well, along with everyone elses

New mod by me, not as good as Lewis, but here it is!
I need to figure out the airmod sight settings...

Also, Lewis - how did you get the transparent blue background? All of the textures I've seen come with the sights are all .bmp's, and whenever I change the file format to make a slightly transparent png for the sight it screws up the UV Map.

Yes you are able to use ironsights in Fenix, and I suggest you watch Lewis' tutorial on modding weapons before attempting anything.

@AaronG,

I made the sight texture in photoshop and saved as a .PNG file. Then I converted it to .dds using FPSC. PNG can store the alpha, so once converted to .dds, it saved the semi transparency.

@Shadowtroid,

Toastyfresh did.

@Arenas,

I'm currently not sharing anything with anyone, so dont be annoyed that I've said no.

For something to annoy you guys, I got the MW2 Desert Eagle into FPSC

Link to the vidiers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozhDTE_akzU

Yes it is terrible quality, it can't be helped I'm afraid.

@AaronG

How did you get the texture working on that sight? I have managed to separate the model with ease, but i cant seem to apply the provided texture for some reason... Any help would really be appreciated

Heres some renders of the weapons in calibre. Thanks Maxi

Just copy/paste the .bmp into the gamecore folder of the gun. I edited the pixels around the red crosshair to #00000 because they weren't previously.

@Lewis
What do you mean "converted the png to .dds using FPSC"?

@AaronG, FPSC converts image files to dds to compress and save space. I simply do that to make the file smaller and easier to use.
