I wont go into frames per sec in detail e.g speed of your machine, size of your game etc. but just to say that basically to increase your frames per sec to a half decent rate say 30 you need to remove entities that are not really needed such as decor and furniture but especially entity lights which I've found run the speed down most.
hope this helps

You probobly dont understand what FPS means,
FPS means Frames per second, which is how much times the screen refreshes per second.
If the FPS is low, the screen gets rendered less time per seconds and looks slower.
You can find all sorts of tutorials on the forums how to keep your map FPS-friendly, i wouldnt know them really now as i´ve not used it for a while.
If you dont understand something about this, just ask.
Hope i helped

This is a problem with FPSC...When the FPS is high, the frames for the guns still move at the same pace... Think of it this way:

A gun has a 10 frame long reload animation.
At 10 FPS, it'll reload in 1 second.
At 20 FPS, it'll reload in 1/2 of a second.
At 40 FPS, it'll reload in 1/4 of a second.

Therefore, if you have a level with variable FPS, it'll make it so that it reloads faster with higher FPS's.

However, stuff like Fenix Mod use a timer system to keep it smooth...So no matter what the FPS is, it'll take the same amount of time to reload. So I'd reccommend getting something like that.

Hope that helped.

So you are talking about removing lightsources???

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things that I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Just entity lights as they use memory and therefore affect fps.
Static lights are already burned in.
