Hey guys its Biff again and I was just thinking about putting a fps creator game on a game CD. But I don't know if that's possible. So if it is can you tell me how?, and I'm sure some other people would like to know also! So if there is something I have to buy or download please tell me the name of the web-site or product! And what type of CD do I use? DVD, HD DVD, Blu Ray, or just on ordinary CD? THANK YOU!!!!!!

I dont see why not. Depending on the size of your game depends on what CD to use eg: Anything under the normal CD limit size can be put on a normal CD and so on. You will also need a "autorun file" to execute "start" your games exe. The autorun batch file needs to be edited with the name of your games exe eg: mynewgame.exe.

Instructions

Burn all the files on to CD including the autorun files "edited ofcource". Do not put the game folder on the cd but all the files that are in your games folder. eg:

files
yourgame.exe
setup
userdetails
And the autorun files

To edit the autorun batch file simply right click on it then go to edit and ad the name of your games exe. It will look something like this.

@echo Loading CD Please Wait...
@start yourgame.exe
@cls
@exit

Ive uploaded the auto run files here.

It will run so far but you may get a runtime error message. I guess another way to do it is use an exe creator software. You can get a software that will turn your games folder in to a executable "exe" file "hmm cant remember what it was called" Then you should be able to install that newly created games exe folder from the CD with the above instructions
