Hi all. I am back.

The good news is our Tommy got a gift. As you know , Tommy is a British army soldier in fps creator game, but He had no his own gun before. He always used mp40 or thompson. So Tommy often cried alone. Now I here by speak that our Tommy has his own submachine gun--- sten SMG (applauding)

The bad news is that is only a preview.I am going to release it in a few days.

So enjoy it.

I thought Tommys were called Tommys because they had Thompsons? So why would be sad when that's all he can use?

I'm not sure your hand positioning is correct, the way he's holding it looks awkward. And it takes up too much of the screen for an FPS.

Pretty good texture though.

I stand corrected. It's just that the Thompson is also called the Tommygun, so it kind of makes sense for a Tommy to have a Tommygun.

Firstly, nice work BFG, but I do agree that the hands don't quite look right.

Sorry, I'm afraid you're not correct. No one knows the full history of the term Tommy to refer to British soldiers but the first recorded use of the term goes back as far as circa 1750's. However, in 1815 the British War Office published a guide to filling out the Soldiers Pocket Book, a sort of ID card. The sample name used on that document was Private Thomas Atkins and that's generally where the term is considered to have come into common usage.
