ok guys... this is probably the noobiest question in dark GDK universe but... how the heck do i load a .x model into the game?!
im almost a total noob in c++ i put in dbLoadObject(COLONEL-X.x,1); and i build and run the program and i get a black screen...... i wait for a while and i still dont get anything!
i took the code from the 3d objects tutorial and pasted it into a clean cpp file and i still got the black screen!!! i didnt even get the loading model text that i told the computer to print!

any help guys?

thanks,

Is the model x-file in the same folder as your main.cpp for that project?
