I modeled an alien creature in blender and bone animated it with an armature. Then I exported as a .x with the Anim button selected. However the .x file doesn't have the animation. How do I properly export an object with it's bone animation to .x?

If it hasn't exploded yet, I haven't touched it.

Anyone? I really need my model to export correctly with it's animation since it's going to be the main enemy im my game.
I attached the .blend file if anyone want to try to export it correctly to .x.

I did all of the things talked about in that thread but when I export my mesh and load it into my dbpro game it is deformed so greatly that it is barely recognizable.

make sure that all bones are connected, if you have any loose floaters like the legs not attached to the spine, it can crumple everything up weird sometimes i've noticed

Does parenting them to the body count? Also How do I attatch the loose bones without messing up my animation? That's probably my problem.

NO.

To connect bones just go into edit mode; select bone 1; select bone 2; press ctrl P; click. That will connect the bones.

Also if after all that the mesh is still distorted and whatnot Combine the head and body to make 1 mesh.

What do I do if the bones are facing different diffections. Also I want the head a seperate mesh because in dbpro I'm going to apply a normal map to the head so I need seperate limbs.

EDIT: I got them attached
