Calibre - Segment Pack 1
Visual Studios

Included in this pack is:

77 New Segments
48 New Entities
30 High Quality Textures (1024x1024)

Use this packs entities and segments to create a dark damp environment for your world, or alternatively, you can set up the basis for a household, using several special segments. Please note that entities in this pack are all structurally related.
This pack is only $6 for a limited time. In one week we will be increasing the price to $8 so buy quickly! All segments have been tested and work with no bugs!

Additional Notes:
This segment pack was an idea of creating funds for Visual Studio, and in particular our game Calibre. All of these segments are in the levels of calibre, and there are many more segments not included in this pack which may be released in future segment packs. Arenas will be sorting out the purchasing side of the pack. Purchases will be checked regularly on the 22/02 and then every day after 4:00. The cost of the pack before the 28/02 will be $6, after that please send $8 for purchase. Any money received which does not total the cost will be sent back, and no purchase will be registered. Please send the required payment to [email protected]
Hope you guys like this segments!

Just for fun the thumbnail links are messed up Maxi, I'll re-do that code for you tomoz.

Heltor, the work which was put into these segments was immense, believe me I reckon Maxi priced it too cheap for the time it took

All, first order of packages will be sent out at 9:00 - 10:00 GMT.

Segments are the easiest thing to make. If you want to call for money for your stuff, you need to add value... the tough stuff like characters and weapons. You should do like Kaven wolf and the cosmic prophet and give this stuff away. Their work is top notch and it's all FREE!!!

Mate, if you don't think its worth paying, don't comment or get the pack. But it seems that quite a few people believe it to be well worth the money. Not to mention that like other free segment packs you get around 15 segments, and this pack has a bit more then 15. Infact, i think it has more segments then any other pack in the TGC store has.

@Tectonic

Adding on to what Arenas said, not everything is free. Kraven and Cosmic are good people for releasing their stuff for free. But not everyone does that. A lot of people want something back. Which is okay, it's expected.

I think it looks good, except the textures look familiar... Did you make them? Other than that, looks very good...I might have to buy it...

And just to add to that. All money from this is going to Calibre to buy new weapons, models textures, code... And Calibre will most likely be a free game. So far it out trumps any other game either of us have ever made, and the features, such as a revolutionary XP Multiplayer custom class system are still being thought of

Shadowtroid i made that textures by heavilly modifing photos from cg textures, so maybe they see similar, but they are really really different when you close see them

Ok, just curious.

I think I'll have to get these...But I'll have to decide soon...

I may not be able to... I was going to get a new graphics card, so I'm a bit cash-strapped at the moment...Maybe I can enlist the help of my brother...

I am always on the look out for a deal. I have purchased every single model pack that TGC has to offer. I buy off their store as well. I have purchased every single skybox that TGC has to offer. I also have purchase numerous software packs developed by users of this forum. So I have a fair idea what things are worth. All I am saying is that there is software that is really cheap that can allow anyone to make thousands of segments within a few minutes. So, if you are going to call for money at least add some value, even if it is only a little bit. You need to develop some credibility and a reputation. The day that Cosmic Prophet or Kaven Wolf start to sell their stuff. I will be first in line. Therefore, don't just look at $$$$. you need to think of the long term effects of your actions.

Oh shut up,you dont know how much work he put into making all those segments. It aint easy to properly modify the textures in Photoshop. Its easy to simply download some stuff from the internet and make segments with free software.

Great pack The textures are very good.

Any more interest on this post guys? A few more sales perhaps?

I would just like to say that all money is going towards buying new models, animations and general upgrades for calibre, which will be a free game for the community. All sales will inevitably come round to reward you guys with an even better game

Dude, these textures are seamless, yours are not so. And there are 123 of these models. You only have 1 atm

So much that you can make a good pack as Black Profductions. Those segments dont reach 20% of what this pack did.You have no seamless texture and they dont look like normal floors and walls anyway. So stop complaining and rather learn to make proper segments.
